Michelle Dunlap, CPA

Michelle Dunlap has more than 17 years of experience and is a manager at Ricci & Company LLC.  Michelle has experience serving a vast array of small to medium sized companies and industries including professional services, real estate, retail and high wealth individuals.  She is responsible for planning and reviewing tax returns for various types of entities including corporations, partnerships, and individuals.   Michelle also helps clients resolve IRS and New Mexico audit issues and helps clients maximize tax benefits.

Education/Qualifications

Michelle has a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from the University of New Mexico.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Mexico Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Prior to joining Ricci & Company LLC, Michelle has been employed in public accounting with local, regional and national public accounting firms.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

Maria Matonti, MPA-Taxation, CPA, Manager

Biography

Maria Matonti has more than 25 years of experience serving a vast array of companies and industries, and is a manager at Ricci & Company LLC.  Maria is responsible for planning and reviewing tax returns for various types of entities including not-for-profits, corporations, partnerships, and individuals.   Maria also helps clients resolve IRS and New Mexico audit issues, helps clients maximize tax benefits, and helps clients with business setup and succession planning.

Education/Qualifications

Maria has a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from the University of New Mexico and a Masters Degree in Federal Taxation from the University of Texas at Austin.  She is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Mexico Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Prior to joining Ricci & Company LLC, Maria worked for other large local CPA firms in Albuquerque.  She also held the position of Tax Manager for a Family-Owned Business with extensive oil and gas holdings and the position of Finance Director for a local nonprofit organization.  In these roles, Maria’s responsibilities encompassed day-to-day supervision of the general ledger and payroll reports, preparation of entity and individual tax returns, preparation of financial statements, and consulting on financial matters.
